That would make it so you don't need an open suffix on gloves which makes the whole crafting process much easier. This would make you way stronger to multiple hits.Īfter that maybe its for the best to just go ahead and craft a nice pair of elevated ailment avoidance boots.

Then you would upgrade shield to something also with % recovery on block (hopefully x 2 but would be hard to find). Then to get ailment immunity I would need to get max rolled elevated ailment avoidance boots or anoint arcane swiftness (probably just take the anoint, way way easier). I would switch the tree to something more like this:

In fact I think that may be where I may take the build next. I think a solution could be cutting out the pathing right of pain attunement (so arcane swiftness/assassination). Isn't really an issue for bossing or normal mapping, but if you're pushing super juiced mapping, your health pool/recovery can be overwhelemed. How does Wraith Pact active totem really work Does it reduce damage only in the 900 radius or does it affect incoming attacks/ spell projectiles from outside the radius Also does it reduce 30 flat out all types of damage regardless if its physical, magic or pure Sometimes I drop it in the middle of the fight and I dont know if its. It would really benefit from having some evade, armor, dodge or block. Yeah it is currently sorely lacking in mitigation layers. At that point you're mainly looking into self-crafting super niche gear which will be very hard/expensive without harvest.

The easy part is building for high block chance against both attacks and spells. The defensive layers on this build are VERY tricky to grasp. Pushing past 100 ex won't really get you significant upgrades that are good value. Since Dark Pact deals a base chaos damage based on the max life our skeletons have, we will want to ramp up minion life across our skill-tree as well as via support gems and gear. Here would be the upgrade path to get to the version I posted yesterday:Īfter that, to continue upgrading, I would look into:īetter rares (culling strike/unnerve gloves, get the res back on shield, upgrade amulet)īuild reaches significant diminishing returns at this point though. Heres a link to yesterday's post if you missed it, I talk more about basic mechanics/interactions and how the build works there: Heres a spreadsheet with price breakdown: You can see in this video I simulate being at a lower budget by dropping my 6th link and unspeccing some of my survivability/damage nodes (to simulate being lower level). People seemed interested in my dark pact totems build, so I decided to put out a guide for a budget version.
